Gipfel in den Allgäuer Voralpen mit gigantischer Aussicht auf die Nagelfluhkette und Richtung Oberstaufen

Der Imberg erhebt sich über Steibis, einem Ortsteil von Oberstaufen im Allgäu. Damit ist er ein Nachberberg der westlichen Nagelfluhkette. Bis unterhalb des 1325 m hohen Gipfels gelangt man sommers wie winters mit der Imbergbahn. Zu Fuß dauert der Aufstieg vom Café Auwinkel (vorbei an der nicht bewirteten Alpe Imberg und am Imberghaus bei der Bergstation) eine gute Stunde. Der Imberg bietet zahlreiche einfache Wander- und Spazierwege und mehrere Einkehr-Hütten, was ihn sehr familienfreundlich macht.
