Der Hochhäderich ist der westlichste Gipfel der langgezogenen Nagelfluhkette. Eigentlich ganz einfach über einen Alpweg erreichbar, sträubt sich der Berg nach Osten mit einem wild-zerissenen Nagelfluhgrat, über den ein mit Drahtseilen und Tritten entschärfter Bergsteig führt. Einst trugen die Bergbauern hier ihre Milchkübel hinauf, heute kommen Wanderer ins Schwitzen.
