The Draugstein is one of the three limestone mountains in Grossarltal and a striking summit with alpine character and beautiful views.
The Draugstein is one of the three limestone mountains in Grossarltal, alongside the Schuhflicker and Höllwand. Its striking rock formation and alpine character make it a special summit destination for experienced mountain hikers. At the foot of the Draugstein lie the serviced Draugstein alpine huts, the Steinmannhütte and Schrambachhütte, which are ideal places to stop for refreshments. Especially in early summer, the diverse alpine flowers around the limestone massif are well worth seeing.
