At the top of Bukovik there is radio station; from here you can see Sarajevo and a great number of mountains, and when visibility is good you can see as far as Bobotov kuk (2,523 m/sl), the highest peak of Durmitor in Montenegro.
This area is enjoyable for all ages, young and old alike. From Bukovik there is a hiking trail that leads to Skakavac Waterfall, which can be reached in around 45 minutes.
Public transport
Minibus 64 leaves from Barica and Čavljaka on the weekends and holidays.Departures are from the terminal Park at 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00 o'clock, and returns from Barica are at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 15:30, 16:30 and 17:30.
The ticket price for adults for a one-way trip is 1.60 KM, and a return ticket is 2.70 KM. A one-way ticket for a child costs 0.50 KM.
