Drumlin Biblis

Der Drumlin Biblis ist ein markanter, eiszeitlicher Längshügel und ein ausgewiesenes Landschaftsschutzgebiet südlich von Nesselwangen, einem Teilort der Stadt Überlingen am Bodensee.

Der ca. 40 Meter hohe Drumlin wurde während der Würm-Eiszeit vor etwa 20.000 Jahren durch den Rheingletscher geformt. Gletschereis und Schmelzwasser modellierten den Hügel parallel zur Strömungsrichtung des Eises. Drumlins sind charakteristisch für die Bodenseelandschaft.

Einer Sage nach wollten die Nesselwanger Bauern diesen Berg zur Seite schieben, da er die freie Sicht zum Bodensee und die Berge behinderte. So entstand der Nesselwanger Narrenverein Biblisschieber.
