Since 1889, the smallest of Munich's four markets, which are open all year round, has been located here - the Wiener Markt. It forms the heart of the place. Here the Haidhauser People have the possibility to buy fresh food as well as flowers. It is open every day - except Sundays.
In the northwest of the square is the Hofbräukeller with one of the largest and most beautiful beer gardens in the city. Around the square there are also many cute shops and trendy boutiques that invite you to stroll. The many small cafés offer a place to relax.
