Zentraler Marktplatz in der Altstadt von Visby

Der historische Marktplatz geht wohl auf das 14. Jahrhundert zurück und war schon damals zentraler Punkt der Stadt.

Die Ruine von St. Karin thront am Rand des Platzes und ist gleichzeitig ein großartiger Wegweiser zu Stora Torget.

Heute finden auf dem Platz Märkte statt und rundherum laden Restaurants, Bars und Cafés zum Verweilen ein.
