Even before the First World War, the tram lines were laid out, which today provide the connection from Scheidplatz in Schwabing to Romanplatz in Nymphenburg and a link to the city centre. These tram lines replaced the last horse-drawn carriage in 1900.
Also located on Kurfürstenplatz was the dance bar "Bohème Diele", a popular meeting place for artists in the 1930s, later known as "La Bohème". Even today there are still numerous cafés, restaurants and bars in the vicinity, which invite you to spend cosy and enjoyable hours.
