The spring of Kryoneri is located on the west bank of the stream of Karavas.
The spring of Kryoneri is located on the west bank of the stream of Karavas. From there begins an uphill cobbled path to the north that crosses the settlement of Ntentianika, and has been renamed in recent years to Kryoneri. The spring area has concrete floors and benches in the three corners. The normal spring is about a hundred meters high on the slope to the west, and it is called Paliovoskina. To make the access to the source easier for residents, a pipe was installed, which transfers the water from there to a tap. This work and the fountain was completed in 1930, with a donation from Dimitrios Patrikios (1860-1930), a wealthy Karavitis, who made a large fortune from the cotton trade in Egypt.
