This is the locals’ favorite spring of drinking water. In summer, when the village is full, residents crowd and wait in queues to fill their containers with this specific water, which is considered to be of good quality. The spring is located in a place built with steps, terraces, washing areas and has a pipe that helps water supply. On the concrete platform (square), there are three water channels, which previously channelled the dilapidated district of Tzortzanika, the watermill of Kourvoulis and orchards located just below. From the northwest corner of the square, a built path leads to Kampoi, where apart from some ruined houses, a Minoan tomb with two chambers per side and a container of the Minoan era was found, which is now in the national archaeological museum of Athens. As the locals say, the name Keramari comes from a lady called Mrs. Mario (Kyra Mario), from Diakopoulianika, who had a field above the spring. Those who were going to get water said that they were going to Kyra Mario's spring, and over the years it gradually turned into Keramari.
