The Iltisbrunnen is a source of falls and is located on the premium hiking trail Brunnen- und Quelleweg.

A source of falls, such as the Iltis Fountain, is often found at the foot of steep slopes. Here, water accumulates at the impermeable separation layers of the sandstone steps and forms so-called source horizons at which the water escapes. The premium hiking trail Brunnen- und Quelleweg passes the Iltisbrunnen.
