La costruzione della fonte rurale può esser fatta risalire al sec. XIX, se ne rinviene traccia sulla carta IGM 1892-1895. Nel 1925 si realizzano opere di manutenzione della fonte. Negli anni 1995-1996 si è provveduto al restauro della fonte ed alla riqualificazione degli spazi circostanti.
