Giant bench on the Stork Hiking Trail in Winden invites you to rest.
Since Easter 2025, the stork hiking trail in Winden has been enriched with another attraction.
The "Winnemer Bänklein" has been completed by a specially established project group and is now open to all interested parties. A small staircase leads to the seating area, which is at an impressive height of 1.60 m. It is 5.30 m long and has an overall height of 3.50 m. This makes it quite an impressive structure under a large walnut tree in a prominent location in front of vineyards in the southern area of Winden.
Not only can you rest here, but you can also enjoy a wonderful view of the sunset, and the flight and foraging of the storks are also very well visible. Furthermore, this bench serves as a wonderful selfie point, as it is truly impressive.
The 4 km long stork hiking trail attracts visitors with its observation platform, living tower, water treading pool, play and fun options, a nibbling garden, and now also a giant bench!
