Die auch Rosenburg genannte Burgruine ist alles, was von der einstigen Höhenburg der Ritter von Rorschach geblieben ist. 1396 an die Fürstabtei St. Gallen verkauft und im Appenzellerkrieg 1403 zerstört geriet sie in Vergessenheit bis in die 30-er Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts. Neben dem Bergfried, mit dem per Treppe erreichbaren Hocheingang, sind noch die Umfassungsmauer und Wohngebäude zu sehen.
