Ascent to the Mägdeberg castle ruin

Auf dem 654 m hohen Mägdeberg befindet sich die gleichnamige Höhenburg, deren Gründung durch die Abtei Reichenau ins Jahr 1235 datiert. Heute ist die Ruine frei zugänglich, erhalten sind noch die das Burggelände umfassende Mauer, der Schalenturm, das erste und das zweite Tor sowie Reste der Ursula-Kapelle.
