Direkt am Waldrand des Naturschutzgebietes Hohes Venn liegt die Wanderreitstation Ruitzhof in Kalterherberg, die dem Verein "Eifel zu Pferd" angeschlossen ist. Der Ruitzhof ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für traumhaft lange Ausritte in eine einmalige Eifellandschaft. Die Wanderreitstation bietet dem Gast zu Pferd diverse Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten für Mensch und Tier, verfügt über einen Reitplatz, eine beheizte Sattelkammer und vieles mehr. Und der Ruitzhof ist ein Hof, wo man Rinder, Schafe, Hühner, Katzen und Hunde noch hautnah kennen lernen kann.

Die Wanderreitstation ist den beiden Vereinen Eifel zu Pferd und Equitours angeschlossen und besteht seit 2007. Durch die attraktive Lage direkt am Wald ist die Reitsation optimaler Ausgangspunkt für attraktive Ausritte in der herrlichen Natur der Nordeifel.

Geführte Reittouren, Verleihpferde, geschlossener Stall (einzelne Boxen), offene Boxen mit Paddock, große Weidpaddocks
