Pigeon Place
Has always been an important spot in the Weidenthal forest. According to the chronicle of Neidenfels, there must have been wolf pits there in the Middle Ages.
The district forester Dirk Neumann had a large boulder erected at Pigeon Place. He also found volunteer helpers who professionally inscribed the name TAUBENPLATZ on the sandstone boulder, which was then chiseled in relief.
