Am Fünfeckweiher befindet man sich zwischen Moorgebiet und Bannwald. Östlich des Bohlen- und Waldweges fällt der Blick auf das renaturierte Hochmoor des "Großer Trauben", westlich davon breitet sich 440 ha große Bannwaldgebiet aus, wo sich die Natur ohne menschliche Eingriffe entwickeln darf. Jeweils eine Plattform ermöglicht Einblicke in die Moor- und Waldlandschaft.
