The Defterdar Mosque (Xhamia e Tefterdarit), built during 1570-1577 in the old part of Peja, east of the centre near Kakarriq cemetery and was burned during the war 1999 and restaured some years ago.
The moqsue is the oldest mosque in Peja and within its yard are about fifty graves from different periods. Today it is on the cultural heritage list.

Prayers are held in the mosque 5 times a day. Go and try your luck to get in, you can always see the mosque from the outside.

The bus needs 1 1/2 hours to Peja from central bus station and parts every 20 minutes.
The train takes 2 hours from the train station.
