Der Col de Vergio ist besonders bei Radfahrern, Motorradfahrern und Wanderern beliebt. Wer den Pass erklommen hat, muss einen Stopp bei der Christusstatue einlegen.
Von dort gibt es in wunderschönes Panorama auf die umlegende Berglandschaft der französischen Insel.
Die Statue ist aus Granit und 6 m hoch. Mit dem Sockel ist sie über 9 m hoch.
