Am Hörnumer Hafen gibt es einiges zu sehen und zu unternehmen:
Ausflugsschiffe
Mit den Adler-Schiffen lässt sich der Nationalpark Wattenmeer per Schiff erkunden. Ein absolutes Highlight dabei ist die Fahrt zu den Seehundsbänken inkl. Seetierfang. Aber auch Tagesausflüge nach Amrum, Föhr oder zu den Halligen werden angeboten.
Kegelrobbe "Willi"
In der südwestlichen Ecke des Hafenbeckens ist Willis Stammplatz. Die Kegelrobbe, die eigentlich weiblich ist, schaut hier regelmäßig mit ihren großen Kulleraugen aus dem Wasser und schnappt nach den Heringen, die ihr zugeworfen werden.
Flohmarkt
In den Sommermonaten findet fast jedes Wochenende ein Flohmarkt am Rande des Hafenbeckens statt.
Sylter Muscheln
In der kleinen weißen Muschelbude an der Ecke des Hafenbeckens gibt es köstliche fangfrische Muscheln der Sylter Muschelfischer. Frischer geht's nicht!
Wassersport
Direkt am Hafen befindet sich der Sylter Yachtclub sowie der Sylter Catamaran Club. Ein Muss für Segelfans!

Public transport
Die Linie 2 der Sylter Verkehrsgesellschaft fäht ab Westerland direkt nach Hörnum. Der Hörnumer Hafen ist die Endstation.
