Der Jüchnitzteich ist ein beliebter Wegepunkt am Thüringer "Urwaldpfad Geraberg".

In der warmen Sommerzeit ist es hier angenehm kühl. Eine Waldschänke in der Nähe lädt zum Verweilen ein, bevor man seinen Weg weiter Richtung Mönchhof bzw. Geraberg Richtung Bruansteinmühle und "Mühlencafé" fortsetzt.
