Der Herzerlsee ist ein kleiner Weiher östlich des Haltersitzes am Wanderweg vom Bodinggraben auf die Feichtau. Besonders vom Haltersitz aus zeigt sich seine namensgebende Herzform sehr schön.Im Frühling ist er besonders stark von Amphibien bevölkert, die dort Hochzeit feiern. Man kann viele Erdkröten, Grasfrösche und Bergmolche bei der Fortpflanzung beobachten, obwohl er noch teilweise vom Schnee der winterlichen Lawinen bedeckt ist.
