In 2015, the village square was awakened from its slumber. The result is a special meeting place that invites people to linger and is also used as a festival site.
The newly renovated parish church towers above the village square and is open daily. The dry stone walls along the church hill, planted with vines, fruit trees and flowers, offer an impressive view over the village square with its fire pond and fountain and adjoining covered seating area, renovated milk house and well house.
Another attraction is the stone sculpture by an internationally renowned artist (Dimitru Verdianu) at the foot of the church hill, which depicts the merciful father. The statue of St. Florian and the spacious forecourt in front of the statue, which is always planted and decorated according to the season, should not go unmentioned.
