Der Achtersee ist ein künstlich angelegter Teich in den Maximiliansanlagen.

Ein kleiner und ruhiger Teich bei der Isar, welcher sich ideal eignet, um eine Verschnaufpause zu genießen und sich nach einem Spaziergang auszuruhen. Hier kann man die Natur auf sich wirken zu lassen und je nach Saison die farbenfrohen Mandarinenten beobachten. Bänke zum Hinsetzen sind vorhanden. In den Achtersee fließen zwei Hangquellen und seinen Namen hat er aufgrund seiner Form erhalten.
