In the playground below the historic city wall, there are various play opportunities for climbing, hiding, romping or lingering. Since autumn 2014, new play facilities have been available for the children. A medieval fortification with a town gate, a large fortified tower and a small town house can be "conquered" in a playful way right next to the historic town wall.
Along the slope, winding paths and various platforms lead the children to the majestic defense tower, while a cozy town house serves as a resting place for the town soldiers and the town captain. Here you can rest, chat and plan new adventures. The stone pendulum, an impressive boulder attached to a special rope, not only fascinates with its physical phenomenon, but also offers an entertaining swinging experience that delights children. Two wooden call columns serve as a special means of communication in the playground and teach children the fascinating principle of sound transmission. Lovingly designed wooden sheep not only invite you to climb and sit, but also create a cozy and natural environment that stimulates children's imagination and brings out their creative side.
