The "Eselsohl" hikers' car park is on the K38 coming from Weidenthal (approx. 2.3 km) in the direction of Elmstein, Waldleiningen - near the Schwarzsohl hiking base.
From the Eselsohl hiking car park, you can go on beautiful hiking tours or mountain bike tours (Tour 4 of the Palatinate Forest Mountain Bike Park runs not far away).

Arrival by car:
Coming from Neustadt an der Weinstraße (A65): Exit Neustadt/Weinstr. North, then follow the B39 towards Kaiserslautern. Stay on the B39 until after Weidenthal. In Weidenthal, turn at the church towards Elmstein/Waldleiningen. Stay on the K38 (approx. 2.3 km) until the hiking parking lot Eselsohl.
Coming from Kaiserslautern (A6): Exit Enkenbach-Alsenborn, then head towards Fischbach/Bad Dürkheim. Follow the B48 until the turn-off to Bad Dürkheim. Continue on the B48 towards Hochspeyer. In Hochspeyer, follow the B48 towards Johanniskreuz. At the Waldleiningen turn-off, leave the B48 and follow the L504 until the turn-off to Weidenthal. Turn left at the turn-off and follow the K38 until the hiking parking lot Eselsohl.
