While Villa Langmatt shows an important art collection of French impressionists, you can enjoy the beautiful park around the villa.

On the eastern end of the city, you'll find the Villa Langmatt. The Villa was converted into a museum housing a splendid collection of French impressionist artwork. The surrounding park, built alongside the Villa in 1900, was commissioned by the industrialist Sydney Brown. The park was rethought and renewed many times until 1910.

The Museum Langmatt is about 16 minutes' walk from the train station.

Bus number 9 also stops in front of the museum at the bus stop "Baden, Langmatt".

Directions

From the station, walk straight on towards the Casino until you pass the Royal. There you cross the crossing and go straight on, and if you feel like it, through the beautiful Kurpark. You will come to a junction, turn right to go to the Bäderquartier, but for the museum you want to go left. After about 4 minutes you will see the entrance to the magical park of the Villa Langmatt on your right and from there you can see the splendid villa.
