The park is particularly characterized by several stations where different sensory experiences can be tried out. These elements invite visitors to actively explore the surroundings and experience natural phenomena in a playful way. The result is a varied place that encourages both lingering and discovery.
A special highlight of the site are three climbing rocks designed to be close to nature. They offer children and young people an exciting opportunity to climb and try out their own movement skills. At the same time, the rocks blend harmoniously into the design of the park and contribute to its natural character.
Quiet places to rest and observe are created between green areas, seating and small recreation areas. A drinking fountain provides additional comfort, offering visitors welcome refreshment, especially on warm days.
The Oskar Moritz Park is also part of the Route of Industrial Heritage in the district of Göppingen. As a so-called anchor point of this themed route, the park combines modern open space design with the industrial history of the region and invites visitors to discover the changes in the landscape and its use.
The park is designed to be barrier-free. Both wheelchair access and access for baby carriages ensure a comfortable visit for as many people as possible.
