Green recreational area right on the banks of the Rhine with a magnificent view of the Cologne skyline - and with a bit of luck you might even spot a few animals.
This excursion destination on the right bank of the Rhine is very popular and offers a wealth of recreational opportunities. The Poller Wiesen are an excellent starting point for relaxed walks, cycle tours or idyllic picnics on the banks of the Rhine. Pedestrians can take several tours here, as there are three Rhine bridges in the immediate vicinity: the Rodenkirchen Bridge to the south, the Severins Bridge to the north and the South Bridge right next door. Meanwhile, there are impressive views of the architecturally striking crane buildings in the Rheinauhafen harbour and Cologne Cathedral.
