Am Theaterplatz von Dresden findet man das imposante Gebäude der Semperoper.

In der historischen Altstadt erstreckt sich das Opernhaus der Sächsischen Staatsoper Dresden und hat eine lange geschichtliche Tradition als Hof- und Staatsoper. Die Eröffnung fand im Jahr 1841 statt. Das Opernhaus wurde nach einem Brand und während des Zweiten Weltkriegs zerstört. Im Jahr 1985 erfolgte der Wiederaufbau. Zählt als eines der schönsten Opernhäuser der ganzen Welt. Heute kann man das prachtvolle Bauwerk von außen betrachten, eine Führung machen oder sich eine Vorstellung ansehen.
