The perfect place to start getting to know the protected area of Monte Corno, known for its great biodiversity and climatic extremes. It hosts permanent exhibitions and attractions for children
The Monte Corno Natural Park is the lowest and southernmost protected area of South Tyrol, right on the border with Trentino: a real mine of biodiversity thanks to the presence of climatic extremes and a great variety of flora and fauna. A visit to the Monte Corno Visitor Centre in Trodena will certainly help you to understand its secrets: the Centre will amaze you from its location, in an old building, with a three-storey high elevator mill. Also interesting is the permanent exhibition "Visible and submerged time", which presents the Monte Corno Natural Park and the exhibition dedicated to the "history of the village of Trodena". Waiting for the little ones, the ant terrarium and Daksy's laboratory, with games, microscopes and many other attractions. Free admission. Closed in winter.
