Stanage Edge

This large gritstone edge is located in the Peak District National Park overlooking Derbyshire and Hathersage.

Stanage Edge is a popular destination among climbers. The rugged mountains offer many climbing routes in all kinds of difficulty levels.

If you prefer a more leisurely walk, you can approach the edge from the top and follow it for about 6 km (4 miles). The view from the edge is breathtaking – the typical moorland of the Peak District stretches below Stanage Edge.
