Die wohl beeindruckendste und interessanteste Gesteinsformation im Timna Nationalpark sind Salomons Säulen (Salomon´s Pillar). Die wie Säulen aussehende, hoch aufragende Gesteinsformationen sind aus Sandstein. Sie sind so perfekt geformt, dass man meinen könnte, wie wären das Ergebnis eines Bauprojekts. Aber weit gefehlt. Salomons Säulen sind durch Erosionen auf natürliche Weise entstanden. Abwechlunsgreiche Wanderwege im Timna Nationalpark führen zu den Säulen, in deren oberen Teil sogar Inschriften mit ägyptischen Ursprung zu finden sind.

Von Eilat auf der Route 90 rund 30 km in Richtung Norden bis kurz vor Elizaf, dann nach links abbiegen und in Richtung Westen, vorbei an den Timna Mines bis zum Parkplatz am Nehushtan See. Von dort zu Fuß zu Salomons Säulen.
