Die Orchideenleiter ist eine Verbindung zwischen dem Schwarzwassertalweg und dem Föhrenbergweg.
Reichhaltige Orchideenbestände säumen den Weg durch den Kiefern-Fichten-Bergwald und sind Zeugen einer intakten und unberührten Natur. Durch ein Mosaik aus unterschiedlichen Biotopen – Kalkmagerrasen, nassen Senken und feuchten Waldböden – kommen hier neben Gefleckten Knabenkräutern und Braunrotem Stendelwurz der Breitblättrige Sumpfwurz vor.
