The rock arch of the Judenkirche

The "Judenkirche" (jewish church) is a large, natural rock arch of light limestone with a large cavity behind it.

The name "Judenkirche" refers to a rock gate known since the 17th century. In June 2007, the environmental committee of the district designated the rock formation as a natural monument. The strange name has its origin in the Middle Ages and indicates that this place seemed strange and pagan to people at that time.
