Diese rund 300 Jahre alte Lärche wurde der Sage nach zur Erinnerung an die mildtätige Gräfin Hildegard gepflanzt, die ihren Waldbesitz den Bürgern der umliegenden Ortschaften und dem Spital Überlingen gestiftet haben soll. Der Baum hat eine Höhe von 45m und besitz eine Holzmasse von 27 Festmetern. Der Umfang in Brusthöhe beträgt 4,70m.
