Die Eyrser Au im Vinschgauer Oberland ist Heimat vieler gefährdeter Vogelarten.

Das Biotop Eyrser Au liegt auf einem, vom Tannaser Bach aufgeworfenen, Schuttkegel bei Eyrs. Auf einer Fläche von 46 ha finden sich hier reichhaltige Strukturen und vielfältige Lebensräume.
Rund ein Drittel der in Südtirol brütenden Vogelarten finden sich hier. Viele der Tiere nutzen die Au als Rastplatz auf ihrer „Durchreise“. Einige der hier vorkommenden Vögel stehen bereits auf der Roten Liste gefährdeter Arten der Region.
Im östlichen Bereich der Au erstrecken sich Feuchtwiesen. Vor Jahren wurde hier ein naturnaher Weiher angelegt. Dieser soll zur Bereicherung des Naturraums beitragen und Amphibien einen geeigneten Laichplatz bieten.
