Nell'allestimento del museo - che, per sottolineare l'appartenenza dei Guriner alla grande famiglia Walser, s'intitola "Walserhaus Gurin" - sono stati rispettati gli interni tipici dell'antica casa d'abitazione gurinese. Una scala scolpita in un possente tronco di larice porta al piano superiore.
Con l'esposizione di antichi attrezzi di lavoro nella torba di fianco e con l’orto situato di fronte all’edificio principale sono documentati i metodi ingegnosi con cui un tempo i contadini di montagna sfruttavano in maniera autosufficiente le limitate possibilità del loro povero spazio vitale.

From Locarno railway station: bus 315 towards Cavergno, Paese. Alight at Cevio, Centro and change to 331 to Bosco Gurin, Paese (2 min walk to change the bus stop).
Return from Bosco Gurin: Bus 331 to Cevio, Posta. 2 min walk to Cevio, Centro. Take the bus 315 towards Locarno Stazione. Alight at Locarno station. Further information:
