The Schleppe Brewery in Klagenfurt is known as a specialty beer brewery.
We offer group bookings for 10 or more people from Monday to Friday, with a maximum group size of 50 people.
Our tours are only available by prior appointment.
Since the year 1607, the Schleppe Brewery has been practicing the brewing craft at the highest level, just outside the city gates of Klagenfurt. Even back then, the foundation for today's specialty brewery was laid. In addition to the Klagenfurt Stadtbräu, top-fermented beers are also brewed. Brewmaster Friedrich Koren brews, alongside the traditional Schleppe Märzen, the naturally cloudy house beer, Schleppe Zwickl, Schleppe Bock, and the strongest beer specialty, Schleppe Doppelbock. Today, the Schleppe Brewery is considered the center of brewing and distilling culture in Carinthia since the Pfau Distillery has settled in its vaults.
A guided tour lasts about 45 minutes. The premises, the brewing system, and the fermentation and storage cellar will be visited.
After the tour, we recommend making a reservation at the cozy Braugasthof Felsenkeller, right at the gates of the brewery. Guided tours are available from May to September!

On public holidays, no house tours are conducted – tours for groups of 10 or more year-round by arrangement.
