The Scapa Flow Museum on Hoy, Orkney, explores the area's key naval role in both World Wars. Set in a restored WWII pumphouse, it features large artefacts, interactive displays, and powerful stories of wartime life and the scuttling of the German fleet.

Recently revamped, it's free to visit, family-friendly, and just a short walk from the ferry.
