Zeitreise in den Alltag vor 200 Jahren? Möglich ist das in der Prassek-Scheune in Kreuzwertheim. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Grafschaftsmuseum und der Alfred-Prassek-Stiftung wurde hier eine beeindruckende Sammlung alter Alltags- und Handwerksgegenstände zusammengestellt.
Das Heimat- und Handwerkermuseum in der Prassek-Scheune aus dem 18. Jahrhundert ermöglicht Einblicke in die Lebens- und Handwerksgeschichte Kreuzwertheims. Ausgestellt sind auf über 200 m² ca. 2.000 Exponate, darunter altes Handwerkszeug und originalgetreue Nachstellungen früherer Wohn- undArbeitsbereiche. In insgesamt neun offenen Räumen und Unterteilungen entdeckt der Besucher zahlreiche Schätze, taucht ein in den Alltag der Menschen im 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert und fühlt sich in alte Zeiten zurückversetzt.
Opening times
Von April bis Oktober jeden ersten Samstag im Monat von 14 Uhr bis 17 Uhr geöffnet.
Für Gruppen auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten möglich, nach Anmeldung.
