In a place with almost 500 years of history, we can admire the works of the painter Severo Portela, illustrative of Alentejo's daily life.

The painter devoted his life to painting Alentejo lives and customs, and at the Museum we can see works such as "The Witches of Álmodovar" or tributes to traditional crafts such as the shoemaker.
