Heimatmuseum im Leutkircher Bockgebäude

Die reichen Bestände des Heimatmuseums im Bockgebäude befassen sich in ständigen und wechselnden Ausstellungen mit der Geschichte der Stadt und der Ortschaften und nehmen auch die Entwicklung der umliegenden Voralpenlandschaft in den Blick. Die Entwicklung der Landwirtschaft und des Handwerks werden in verschiedenen Abteilungen gezeigt. Im "Kinderzimmer" des Heimatmuseums erwarten die Museumsbesucher Spielzeug, Puppenstuben und Puppenküchen, die in einem bürgerlichen Ambiente des 19. Jahrhunderts ausgestellt sind. Im "weißen Saal" des Museums sind Gemälde und Skulpturen regionaler Künstler aus verschiedenen Epochen zu sehen. Zahlreich vertreten sind Arbeiten des Friesenhofener Rokoko-Meisters Konrad Hegenauer.
