Museum Hameln mit dem Rattenfänger

Entdecken Sie das Museum in zwei der schönsten Renaissancehäuser mitten in der Hamelner Altstadt. Die modern gestaltete Dauerausstellung macht die Geschichte Hamelns lebendig, von der mittelalterlichen Handelsstadt über die Festungszeit als „Gibraltar des Nordens“ bis ins 20. Jahrhundert.

Von internationaler Strahlkraft ist die Rattenfängersage, zu der das Museum die wohl größte Sammlung weltweit besitzt. Eine besondere Attraktion ist dabei das mechanische Rattenfänger-Theater, das die bekannte Sage mit moderner Technik zum Leben erweckt.
