Lungo il percorso della Valle Vogna, nella frazione Rabernardo di Riva Valdobbia, una tipica abitazione tardo seicentesca in stile walser è sede del Museo Etnografico Walser.

L'abitazione è costruita su quattro livelli e rappresenta ancora oggi un perfetto esempio di abitazione walser a 1.500 metri di quota. Al piano seminterrato la piccola cantina scavata nel terreno, al piano terra la stalla e lo spazio abitativo della famiglia con la tipica stufa in pietra; i locaIi per la lavorazione del latte, l’affumicazione delle carni,la stagionatura dei formaggi e un laboratorio ove a scopo museale sono stati raccolti gli strumenti del calzolaio.

Al piano superiore, la sala della tessitura con un telaio funzionante dei primi del ‘700 ed una tipica camera da letto con il letto ad alcova dove sono esposti alcuni costumi tipici del luogo. All’ultimo piano il sottotetto con la tipica area della battitura dei cereali e l'esposizione della collezione di strumenti agricoli e di falegnameria: un tempo adibito a fienile, granaio e alla lavorazione del legno.

Il museo è aperto principalmente in estate e su richiesta anche in altri periodi dell'anno.
