MMM Ripa at Bruneck Castle

Das oberhalb von Bruneck auf einem Hügel thronende gleichnamige Schloss war einst Sommersitz der Brixner Fürstbischöfe. Es wurde im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut. Seit 2011 dreht sich hier alles um Bergvölker aus aller Welt. Als Teil des Museumsprojektes "Messner Mountain Museum" zeigt das MMM Ripa in einer umfassenden Ausstellung das Leben der Bergmenschen in Europa, Afrika, Südamerika und Asien. Dabei werden neben der Kultur und Religion der einzelnen Völker auch der Tourismus beleuchtet. Unter dem Motto "Erbe der Berge" können Besucher hier den Alltag der Bergvölker nachempfinden.
