This former grain and oil mill is located on the valley slope in the middle of Friedebach. Visitors can see a linseed meal oven, a stamp press, a large water wheel and a thumb shaft with six pairs of rams from the time before 1958, when the mill was still in operation. On 19.05.1997 (Whit Monday), on the occasion of German Mill Day, the present agricultural and mill museum was officially opened. A visit is recommended to experience the production of linseed oil, which is famous in the Ore Mountains, at first hand. For a demonstration of linseed oil production, however, please book in advance by telephone (Tel.: 037365-1352).
