Das Lentos Kunsmuseum ist direkt in Linz an der Donau gelegen. Seine beeindruckende Architektur prägt das Stadtbild von Linz.

Die moderne, transparente Glasfassade lässt das Lentos und die Donau nachts in bunten Farben leuchten. Markant ist der überdimensionale „Bilderrahmen“, der den Baukörper durchbricht und für einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Stadteil Urfahr und eine weitere Sehenswürdigkeit, den Pöstlingberg, freigibt. Das Lentos Kunstmuseum bietet moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst in besonderem Ambiente. Präsentiert werden Kunstwerke des 19. Jahrhunderts, über die klassische Moderne (Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka) und den Expressionismus bis hin zu aktuellen, zeitgenössischen Kunstpositionen (VALIE EXPORT). Zusätzlich geben Sonderausstellungen Einblicke in vielfältige Themen und Epochen der Kunst oder sind dem Schaffen einzelner KünstlerInnen gewidmet. Familien sind herzlich willkommen!
