Der über 5.000 qm große Komplex Grand Curtius wurde unter dem Namen des Bergwerkbesitzers Jean Curtius (1551-1628) errichtet und befindet sich im historischen Herzen der Stadt. Hier können Besucher die 7.000 Jahre alte Kunst und Geschichte bewundern: Rund 5.800 Stücke aus den Bereichen Archäologie, Kunstgewerbe, religiöse und maasländische Kunst sowie Glas und Waffen werden Ihnen auf drei Ebenen zugänglich gemacht.
